Learn the rules of Texasholdem
Learning the rules of Texasholdem is crucial if you want to be a pro in the game. The rules are not at all difficult to understand, if you have a good brief on Poker.
In a game of Texasholdem, each player gets two cards to play. Shortly, betting begins and three community cards (the flop) are drawn. If winning the game is on your mind, combine the community cards with the other player’s hole card.
After dealing with the flop, bets are again placed and the turn card is disclosed. Second round of betting begins and after that comes the last community card, the river.
Texasholdem players are blessed with many betting options. You can check, bet, raise or fold after each deal. However, you need to do it before the community cards are drawn.
By Check, it is meant that the Texasholdem player has opted to pass and not place a bet. It can be done only before the bets have opened. Starting a bet means opening the bet for that round. Raise means raising the size of the bet, making the rest to follow.
Folding in Texasholdem means to prevent the other players from playing and give up one’s possibility of claiming the prize money.
