Cut stones
A cut stone is a stone hewn or chiseled to shape after having been split from the quarry. Since the abstract style is taking over every aspect of interior designing in the market, designing with stones has also fell prey to it. Stones are basically cut in abstract shapes unlike the usual squares, rectangles, or some other clearly recognizable pattern. The most common uses are the construction of patio, which involves building a patio out of geometric shapes. These cut stones are mostly used for walls as they make the room look really attractive. Most common cut that is given to this stone is “emerald cut” or “step cut.” In the majority of projects, they are all of uniform size, although there are exceptions to this rule. Irregular stone work is often used to support avant garde themes and contemporary elements.
They are also used to provide people with a decorative-and also highly stable-surface to walk on. Though the cut stones make the home look really different and magnificent, the colors used for these stones should be given major attention. The choice of color is limited for the cut stones, however, the must be chosen to suit the atmosphere and theme of the room.
